Description Dr. Fixit Primeseal is water-based primer composed of acrylic emulsion polymer, properly selected fine fillers, white pigments & additives in water as a medium. It is used as primer over exterior & interior building walls before application of Dr. Fixit Raincoat & other water based paints. Standard Compliance / Specification Meets the requirement of ASTM D 1227 – 87, Type III standard. Cracks more than 5 mm and all separation gaps should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or Dr. Fixit Unibond SBR modified mortar or as specified. 2 APPLICATION } Dilute Dr. Fixit Primeseal with water in proportion of 2:1 and stir well until a uniform consistency is achieved. } Apply a single coat of diluted Dr. Fixit Primeseal on the cleaned substrate & allow it to dry for 2 to 3 hours before commencing to further finish coats. } Light cut with sand paper the coating of Dr. Fixit Primeseal before commencing the finish coats on internal walls Precautions & Limitations } Only 50% dilution is recommended for Dr. Fixit Primeseal by water. } Excess water on substrate must be removed by suitable means. } Do not apply during rains or in direct sunlight. } Do not tint the primer

Method of Application 1 SURFACE PREPARATION Ensure new cement sand plaster surfaces are completely/cure and dry for 8 - 12 weeks. Clean the surface till it is free from dust, grease and flaking paint. Any unstable paint to be removed, using high-pressure wash or scraper, whichever is appropriate. Algae and fungus on the wall to be removed, by using high-pressure wash or coir brush and shall be treated with fungicidal solution. All surface cracks up to 5 mm width should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Crack-X paste. Cracks more than 5 mm and all separation gaps should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP modified mortar or as specified. 2 APPLICATION For Vertical Surface Fresh Plaster Or Repainting: Use Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo directly from the container. Stir contents well before use. Brush / roller apply a self-priming coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo on the vertical wall surface in SSD condition, diluting 1 litre coating with 100ml clean portable water. Allow it to dry for 4 -6 hours. Apply a coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo without dilution as waterproof top coat, either by roller or brush with force coverage at the rate of 3.7 - 4.1 Sq mtr / litre to achieve DFT of 100 - 110 microns. Allow it to dry for 4 -6 hours. * Lighter shades of white base on the top of dark colours need additional coat for finishing. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces like the top of windows, ledges, parapet wall, etc. Allow the coating to full air cure for 7 days.
