Description Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo is high build water-based elastomeric exterior wall, waterproof coating. Designed with weather resistant acrylate polymers. It is UV resistant and offers good hiding and spreading. Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo develops a strong inter-coat adhesion with the substrate therefore no separate primer is required. The coating doesn’t peel off from the wall and flake, hence the walls, look beautiful for longer periods. Method of Application 1 SURFACE PREPARATION Ensure new cement sand plaster surfaces are completely/cure and dry for 8 - 12 weeks. Clean the surface till it is free from dust, grease and flaking paint. Any unstable paint to be removed, using high-pressure wash or scraper, whichever is appropriate. Algae and fungus on the wall to be removed, by using high-pressure wash or coir brush and shall be treated with fungicidal solution. All surface cracks up to 5 mm width should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Crack-X paste. Cracks more than 5 mm and all separation gaps should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP modified mortar or as specified. 2 APPLICATION For Vertical Surface Fresh Plaster Or Repainting: Use Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo directly from the container. Stir contents well before use. Brush / roller apply a self-priming coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo on the vertical wall surface in SSD condition, diluting 1 litre coating with 100ml clean portable water. Allow it to dry for 4 -6 hours. Apply a coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo without dilution as waterproof top coat, either by roller or brush with force coverage at the rate of 3.7 - 4.1 Sq mtr / litre to achieve DFT of 100 - 110 microns. Allow it to dry for 4 -6 hours. * Lighter shades of white base on the top of dark colours need additional coat for finishing. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces like the top of windows, ledges, parapet wall, etc. Allow the coating to full air cure for 7 days.
